Is it mandatory to fill in all fields?

You must select at least one service (e.g. fixed telephony) and enter at least one numeric information regarding this service. But you can enter more than 50 categories of information (selectively).
Comparison results are completely dependent on how much data you do complete in the application, concerning the use that you make. For more accurate results, it is important to provide as much information as possible on the use of a service.

Example:

If you would like to compare mobile products, it is possible to get different results if you enter 1500 minutes, without further analysis, rather than enter 1500 minutes, indicating that 1000 is in fixed and 500 mobile destinations.

The comparison method utilizes information available to EETT. For example, if a user stated that needs 1000 minutes of talk time per month from fixed phone, without any other information, then the system uses EETT’s empirical information, for where these calls (these 1000 minutes) are distributed on average, i.e. how many of these apply to fixed line calls, calls to mobile, international calls etc. “Average” is a statistic metric and cannot express every user of the system. For this it is proposed that each user should complete all the fields which concern him.

How can I get more accurate results?

To get more accurate results, it is recommended to fill as much information as possible (see question 1).
Prior to the information input process, it is important to consult your itemized bills and enter the actual monthly usage of telecommunications services made and not the one that the advertised package offers. Unless you have at your disposal detailed billing account (e.g. prepaid), you could use any of the available applications or other empirical method. You can fill in the file provided by the system to registered users as well, «download» it and see the results.

What results are obtained, in case I enter the characteristics that the advertised product offers me, rather than the use that I really make (actual use)?

If you enter the advertised talk time of a program, the value results may seem overcharged than the advertised monthly fee. This occurs in cases where the advertised program has a different minimum charge duration than 1 (one) second.

Example 1:

If a program includes 1500 minutes of talk with a minimum charge duration of 2 minutes and the call made last about 1 minute, then the first 750 calls will consume 1500 minutes. All your other calls will be billed according to the current pricelist. In reality if you do not make more than 750 average duration calls of one minute, the difference is not going to be recorded in your account, except where you exceeded use.

Example 2:

You see in the results, that the program that you already have, is more expensive or cheaper (concerning the Fee) than the amount of money you pay each month. If it is more expensive, then it is very likely that you have entered, in application fields, the advertised minutes but actually taking advantage of fewer minutes. If cheaper, then it is very likely that you have entered, in the application, the advertised minutes, but actually consume more.

Is Application registration mandatory?

Registration in the application is not obligatory. It enables you though, to create up to 3 different user profiles. With each user profile you create, you can prepare a monthly use scenario of telecommunications services (e.g. how many talk minutes from fixed or mobile to fixed or mobile destinations, how many SMS, if you want a fixed or mobile broadband access, etc.). Having created a user profile, in future logins (in Pricescope) you can preview updated information concerning your preferences (e.g. new programs/plans, changes in attributes of existing programs etc.), depending on the profile you choose. Note: EETT may use the user profile of the registered user, for statistical reasons.

Why the results differ, for some products, unlike the values that I was offered in personal communication with the provider?

Pricescope results, are based on official company pricelists and ignores personalized offers, such as special discounts etc.

While I chose the pay TV service, I could not compare the products concerned, why?

Pricescope does not performs any comparative evaluation of pay-television service, but lists the relative programs of each company.

What else should I notice?

If you select "Details" in each program/plan you will see the characteristics of the program/plan, in detail, that can be bundled with and any bundled program/plan, in order for the application to create this particular result.
The mobile contact plans do not appear in the list price because the results have been incorporated into the mobile subscriber fee. The more calls do take place, regarding shorter talk duration than the minimum charge duration, the more expensive the fees of the program will be. If you do not enter the average call duration, then the system assumes that it is 2 minutes.
